The Sacred Heart Ladies Guild
Meet the FIRST Monday of each month at 6:45 PM in the Sacred Heart Center.

Ladies Guild Projects Include:

  • Monthly Mass at Fox’s Nursing Home on Second Friday at 1:30 PM
  • Parish Picnic held each August at City Park in Chester
  • Christmas Dinner held each December at the Sacred Heart Center
  • Various other projects that aid in the “Building of a Faithful Community” at Sacred Heart Parish.

Sacred Heart Church Clothes Closet:
Established in 1969

We believe: “Share what you have, take what you need.”
The Volunteers work the clothes closet on Thursdays from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Chester-Newell FISH Foundation

We are an independent 501(c)(3) organization relying solely on the altruism of the community. The pantry was founded in 1972 and is housed in the basement of Sacred Heart Center.
Our pantry is open on Saturday mornings from 10:00-10:30 for clients to come and pick up their bags of groceries. These clients call an answering service (also run by a volunteer) from Monday -Thursday. Volunteers meet to pack the bags either on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. When the clients arrive, they are handed their prepackaged bags and receive a $10 gift card to buy milk, bread, etc.
